Soo... korang mesti mcm, sial la... If only I knew a way to build myself one...... Worry no more!! hahaha.. Ini kerana anda juga boleh buat gitar sendiri dgn menggunakan bahan2 yg sedia ada...

Things you will need

Tools
Hammer, gergaji, screwdriver dan pisau pemotong kotak utk memotong lebihan wayar pada pickup.

Materials
1 glass bottle

1 piece of wood or board at least 18 inches in length

2 small wood screws, nails or push pins (for mounting the pickup)

1 salvaged scrap of half-inch thick board, trimmed to fit the four-inch width of the neck

3 large nails

4 one and a quarter-inch black drywall screws

1 guitar pickup

1 quarter-inch mono output jack

1 quarter-inch cable

1 steel acoustic/electric guitar string

1 medium wall/medium glass slide

Amplifier, if you don't own one

Step 1: Determine where to position the guitar string and make a small pencil mark in each location. (If you plan to use more than one string you will need to decide how to space them apart.) Hammer a nail into each spot, leaving at least a two-inch exposure.

Place the bottle against the nail at the bottom of the guitar and make a small mark on the other side of the bottle.

Step 2: Set the nail at least an 1/8th of an inch off center of the first two nails to provide tension on the guitar string . Set aside the bottle and tap in the nail.

Fasten the guitar string around the nails on both ends, making sure the wire sits tight against the middle nail.

 Step 3: The string should be taut enough that it's hard to slide the bottle back into position under the guitar string.

Step 4: Our pickup came with a simple two-wire setup, red and black. Attach the red wire to the tab with bayonet connection and the black to the other. For best performance the wires should be soldered to the tabs.

Step 5:Locate a spot under the string where you get a nice sound. Mark it on the board.

Nail, screw or pin the smaller piece of wood directly over the marked location. Screw or nail the pickup to the small piece of wood.

The guitar is now ready to play. Using a guitar pick and a glass slide test your instrument. To tune it hammer one of the end nails until you get the right pitch. Crank up your amplifier and do your best imitation of Jack White!
